Coverlet 3.0 builds on the daily ritual with a 100-level Patchwork Journey and twelve-level introductions to the other seven techniques. Small boards introduce the rules, then grow into more involved patterns while keeping Coverlet’s familiar look and controls.

Play at your own pace in Relaxed mode, or choose a timed Pattern Path challenge. Earn Thread through completed levels. Apple TV has its own untimed 100-level Patchwork Journey and seven twelve-level journeys. The first twelve levels in every TV technique stay free; Full Quilt adds Patchwork levels 13–100. TV boards and progress are separate from the other editions and saved on that television.
Full Quilt remains a one-time purchase, and existing owners keep their access. Daily techniques stay free. Purchased coin packs and subscriptions are not part of this preview.
Release status: Coverlet 3.0 is being tested and is not yet available on the App Store. The published app remains 2.1 on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro, with Apple TV on 2.0.

Clear expectations make a daily ritual easier to start. Here is what the current app promises.
How many puzzles are in Coverlet each day?
Coverlet currently offers one daily board in each of eight techniques: Patchwork, Appliqué, Piecing, Stitchline, Rosette, Buttons, Cross-Stitch, and Gingham. Each technique comes in Quiet, Steady, and Intricate weights.
Does Coverlet work offline?
Yes. The core daily boards are generated on-device, so the central puzzle can be played without a connection. Optional Apple services such as purchases and Game Center remain separate.
Is Coverlet free?
Today's board in every technique, Sprint, the first five boards of each pack, two fabrics, the quilt, streaks, and Game Center are free. The Full Quilt is an optional one-time purchase; there is no subscription.
What is coming in Coverlet 3.0?
Coverlet 3.0 is in development: a 100-level Patchwork Journey and introductory paths for the other seven techniques. On iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro, Patchwork levels 1–20 and the introductory paths are free; Full Quilt opens Patchwork levels 21–100. Apple TV has its own 100-level Patchwork Journey: the first 12 levels of every technique stay free, and Full Quilt adds Patchwork levels 13–100. These features are not yet in the current App Store release.
Do I need an account?
No account is required for core play. Optional Game Center features use Apple's sign-in and service infrastructure.
